Nail Pattern Boldness – Time Traveler Collection
So this is it, the maiden voyage. If this were an episode of Firefly, I would already be cancelled. Awwww, I made that joke too real. Now I’m sad. CURSE YOUR SUDDEN BUT INEVITABLE BETRAYAL, FOX!
Today I am going to show you all something magical, something rare, something that should NOT be overlooked. The Time Traveler collection from Nail Pattern Boldness. It consists of 6 polishes, and they are all stunners! Rarely do you find a collection full of winners. It’s like buying an album and finding that all the songs are chart toppers! Yes, I compared nail polish to music. Stick around, folks; I’ll be making random comparisons constantly.
Be forewarned, there will be more pics in this post than dead canaries in the room of requirement.
Hint: Click on the photos to see the drool inducing loveliness.
The first polish up is Allons-y, named after the Tenth Doctor’s famous catch……word? Allons-y is a clear base packed with purple, silver, and blue micro glitter. It applies perfectly, seriously. The term glitter bomb was created just for this snazzy little creation. These glitters are mega thirsty, so Glitter Food was a must. Full opacity can be reached in 3 coats. Ten would be proud. He would NOT be sorry, so sorry. Enjoy.

Next up is Hello, Sweetie. I was so excited when I saw this polish in Allison’s teaser photo for the collection. River Song DESERVES this glorious tribute. I can’t look at this without thinking of every bad ass contribution she has given to the Whoniverse. Four for you, Allison. You go, Allison.
Hello, Sweetie is an amazingly brilliant purple jelly with clear iridescent & black matte square glitters, three sizes of copper hex glitters, and red micro glitter. Application was a breeze, too. I had no issues with it whatsoever. I fully intend on wearing this when I stalk meet Matt Smith. “Oh, you like my nail polish, Matt Smith? Hello, Sweetie.”
-Yes, I have fake conversations with celebrities in my head. You should hear the things that Benedict Cumberbatch and I talk about. Makes a girl blush.

Polish number three is Oodiful…..it is also named Oodiful. Like that? Yeah, I thought you would. I think Eleven said it best, “Oods are good. Love an Ood.” And this Ood…this Ood is great! The polish consists of matte pink squares & two sizes of matte white hex glitters in a creamy grey jelly base. Like the other two prior it applied with no issues. It’s crazy, if you had asked me to transform an Ood into polish form I never could have made something this gorgeous. But now after seeing Oodiful I cannot imagine it any other way. Yep, mega nerd win on this one.

Bigger on the Inside
Next up I’m showing Bigger on the Inside. Now….not to trash ANY other indie polish maker, not my intention at all, but I can think of at least 3 other TARDIS inspired polishes, and none of them touch this gem. In my opinion, this is the best translation of the TARDIS into polish that I’ve seen. This makes me want to pack my bags and sit in my backyard all Amelia Pond style. Oh, god…. “Come along, Pond”…..excuse me while I cry for a moment.
Okay, back to the polish. Bigger on the inside is a TARDIS blue (Big and little at the same time. Brand new and ancient, and the bluest blue…ever – for non Whovians) jelly with silver micro glitters. Not to sound like a broken record, but again, the application was awesome.

A Good Man Goes To War
-Dramatic music plays in background, slowly growing to crescendo-
“Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies. Night will fall and the dark will rise when a good man goes to war. Demons run but count the cost; the battle’s won but the child is lost.”
Do you have chills? WELL YOU SHOULD! The fifth polish in this train of awesome is, you guessed it, A Good Man Goes to War. It perfectly equates the anger and rage of its namesake. Ugh, wait a sec, my iPod is playing Axel F. It’s too happy for this polish. I need something more suitable. Farewell to Dobby by Alexandre Desplat, exactly what this calls for. Okay, returning to polish mode. It is a bright red jelly base with matte black micro & square glitters, and silver micro, square & hex glitters.

I hope you are all still with me, because I saved the best for last. Oh, yes I did. If this were a Disney movie, this polish would be Cinderella. All Eyes would turn to her as she slowly made her way into the ball. “Who is that,” they would all ask. Well, that, ladies and gentlemen, is Slow Invasion.
Are you sold yet? This is the polish I was most looking forward to, and with good reason. It is a PERFECT teal jelly with a slew, yes a SLEW of bright, multi colored & sized SQUARE glitters. Oh no, there is a nary a hexagonal glitter to be had here! How much do I love this polish? Well, I’ll tell you. I wore it as my birthday manicure. I promise that means something grand.
