Lucky 13 Lacquer – Mischief Managed pt. 2
Guess who’s back to show you the last 6 lacquers in this swish & flick-worthy collection?! I would ask you if you’re ready, but I’m preeeeeetty sure the answer is yes. Well, unless you have the emotional range of a teaspoon, in which case you might not care at all. Okay, I totally know you wanna see, I just needed an excuse to throw that teaspoon reference in. Wands at the ready? Let’s say the words, and bust out our invisibility cloaks.

Inspiration comes to life! Seriously, could this polish be inspired by any creature other than Fawkes? No, the answer is no. Phoenix Lament has yellow, orange, and red matte shreds mixed into a clear base. The formula was superb, but I do have to warn you…wearing it will give you major, major Dumbledore feels. Photos show 2 coats over red-to-orange gradient.

Tired of trying to kill Death Eaters without a working wand? Now you need only slap on a few coats of this killing curse, and point your finger at your offender! Avada Kedavra has a lime green base with holo green and silver hexagons mixed throughout. The formula is glitter heavy, but it still spreads like a boss, totally manageable. Photos show 3 coats, sans undies.

Have you ever looked at a unicorn and thought “Hey, I’d really love to get my hands on some of your blood, but I don’t want the ramifications that come with killing you”? Well now you can get their blood on your hands without getting their blood on your hands!
Unicorn Blood is a chrome silver polish with a smattering of holo pigment mixed in, just enough for a pop of color when the light hits. The formula was innocent of all troubles, just like the creature from whence it came, and photos how 3 coats, sans undies.

So yesterday I showed you the original formulation of this flitting beauty, and now I’m back to show you its final form – the one that is available for purchase. While it is similar, this version definitely trumps the former.
Golden Snitch has a creamy base, reminiscent of the lace around Ron’s dress robes. Mixed into said base are gold hexagons in several sizes and a fine golden micro shimmer. The first 2 coats did apply a tad bit streaky, but the 3rd evened everything out perfectly. Just like Harry’s Snitch, this polish will certainly reward you for your perseverance and skill.

Path to Immortality
Is depth the only reason that I want to make babies with this lacquer? No. But…I’m just saying, it could be a contributing factor. Path to Immortality is a seemingly simple mix of gold hexagons in a black base. But don’t let it fool you. Its finished beauty may very well split your soul in to 7 pieces. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, even non-nose havers can pull off this look. Photos show two coats, flawless formula and all.

Source: Accio This
Okay, I had to save this one for last, for pretty much obvious reasons. When Kyoti told me that she wanted to base a lacquer off of me I pretty much lost all control of my limbs. I also teared up, but I won’t get into that. It got even better when she told me that she wanted my help designing this baby. For me, the most notable example of Accio is during the Triwizard Tournament, when Harry summons his Firebolt to escape the Hungarian Horntail. So with that knowledge Kyoti created this masterpiece. I might be a bit biased.
Accio Lacquer has a greyish-brown base with a magical amount of red, orange, and gold micro flakies mixed throughout. I really do think that some Amortentia was mixed in, as I fell head over heels in love with the formulation. But again….biased. Photos show 3 coats, sans underoos.
